At Space2b we believe that ‘Connections make us who we are and are why we exist’.
‘Holding Space’ provides an opportunity for different cultural groups to design a series of 'cultural immersions’ - art and cultural events to share and express individuality and collective identities of each community.
These Immersions allow an audience the chance to view cultures through a new lens; deepening their understanding of the traditions, history and practices of communities, as well the journey to “belong“. The immersions break down barriers and build intercultural connections/relationships that bring us closer together as a community.
The intention is also to showcase the vibrancy and contribution of multiculturalism in Australia.
Immersions are co-designed by each community.
