They’re a crowd favourite, not to be missed.

Human rights activist, musician, artist, and winemaker Farhad Bandesh fled Kurdish Iran in 2013 and, after years in detention, found freedom in Australia. With support from the Yarra Valley winemaking community, Time to Fly Shiraz was born in 2022. Today, Bandesh Wines offers rich reds, crisp whites, rosé, gins, and traditional Kurdish arak — each a story of resilience and hope.
