10 Year Celebration (2023)
Renowned art and design social enterprise, Space2b Social Design is thrilled to be celebrating its 10th-anniversary with a momentous retro Gala Dinner Dance. This milestone occasion was filled with laughter, live music, and captivating performances, commemorating a decade of empowering individuals seeking asylum, refugees, and newly arrived migrants but also to raise awareness and support for their ongoing journey towards financial independence and community connection.

The Art of Belonging Q&A (2022)
Space2b hosted an evening of art and belonging to celebrate Refugee Week. Tasneem Chopra (OAM) leads a Q&A panel with five resilient and inspiring creatives who have overcome amazing odds to become the people they are today. They shared with us, their journeys and stories of home and belonging. We are also blessed to have poetry readings from St Kilda Primary School students who share their innocent but insightful views on home and belonging. Our future looks bright.

Stand Up for Space2b (2019)
To help Space2b remain financially sustainable, Colin Lane (Lano & Woodley) will host ‘Stand-up for Space2b,’a night of stand-up comedy and music featuring (among others) the brutally honest, devastatingly hilarious, Judith Lucy along with 2019 Melbourne Comedy Festival Most Outstanding Show nominee and 3RRR Breakfaster co-host Geraldine Hickey.

Build Space2b Dinner (2017)
Salvatore Malatesta from well known café, St Ali in South Melbourne has become a mentor to Space2b, supporting us with the soon to be, laneway café, his valuable advice and 2 years of coffee beans! Salvatore has also offered his café, for this special dinner to support Space2b in our crowd-funding campaign, ‘Help us Build our Space2b’.

Julian Burnside (2015)
An evening of education, inspiration and hope with Human Rights Advocate, Julian Burnside; Spoken Word Poet, Abe Nouk and Performance Artist, Ee’da and the enigmatic Tasneem Chopra as our host for the evening.

I Am A Girl (2014)
RAW and Space2b celebrate Internation Women's Day 2014 by showcasing the Australian feature-length documentary, I AM A GIRL. It tells the story of six girls from countries around the world including Cambodia, Papua New Guinea and Australia. As each girl moves closer to coming of age the film reveals what it means to grow up female in the 21st century.
