NOMAD bring together a blend of emerging and established artists of African background, evoking a sense of sharing, reflection and creative thinking among our community. So come along and enjoy this space of thought provoking art and culture.

Much more then a simple drink, coffee is a whole experience! There is a culture of ritual around the roasting and drinking coffee in Ethiopia which is embellished with this traditional coffee ceremony. Be part of this experience as Genet Fida roasts and grinds the coffee beans, bringing you simply delicious coffee, complemented by popcorn, a snack that is traditionally eaten as part of the ceremony process.

We will be serving some delicious East African nibbles including :
Shiro injera roles (chickpeas prepared with the minced onions, garlic and a mix of spices, warped in injera)
Sambusa (infused with niter kibbeh, a spiced clarified butter that is widely used in Ethiopian cooking.
Kitcha firrier (shredded injera, spiced clarified butter, and the hot spice berbere)
hambasha (sweet bread)”

WHO'S TRAINING
EFTU ABRAHIM
Meet Eftu, our retail trainee. After a shaky beginning, Eftu has managed to overcome many obstacles and is now our top sales person. Eftu is brave, bright and always ready to have a laugh in spite of everything. We are so proud of her. At the end of March Eftu will be looking for work, so If you know any jobs going, we have just the person. Oh and did I mention she's also an amazing model!
