Laneway Street Art + The Games Children Play

Street artist Heesco, well known for his silo works in regional Victoria, and four CALD artists have brought color and movement to Space2b’s laneway and café with a large scale mural featuring a menagerie of local birds and indigenous flora.

The mural spills out onto the laneway floor offering children’s street games from around the world. Limited walks and occupying children through Melbourne’s many lockdowns is the inspiration for these vibrant works.

LAUNCH: The murals will be launched at 12 noon and conclude with a street art tour.

Check out the colourful street art in our laneway and partake in a guided tour by the artists who created these stunning works.
In addition to the two beautiful murals created by Heesco and his team, there are works by street artist Suki, whose murals feature movement and dance.

Bring out your inner Bollywood star!
Jhoom-Bollywood Dance Company will bring Bollywood to our Street Art Launch.  This colorful dance troupe takes aspects of Indian classical and folk dance then fuses it with styles from around the world. People can do these moves easily without years of training. Put on your dancing shoes, learn a few moves, and join in the fun!

Taste homemade Syrian Food from our new cafe owner Nayran!
